Austin Beginner classes for February

CLASS 1- February 4th (introduction and fundamentals)

CLASS 2- February 18th (review, variations, + closing announcents)

This class is for any aspiring shuffle dancers or lovers of movement.👟✨The best thing about this class is that NO prior dance experience is required & no expectations are set.Come learn something new and have fun!

In this 2-hour shuffle workshop geared for beginners, we'll start with an introductory course to shuffle history and culture that'll show you exactly what you're learning and what to expect, followed by a holistic and dynamic stretch session to warm up our bodies. After getting our mind and bodies prepped, we'll go into learning the basic fundamental moves of shuffling in an easy, digestable way that even a kid can pick up (seriously, you can bring your kids). The goals of this class are to enjoy yourself as you learn something new, find a new way to express to EDM (or any genre, really), and most importantly have fun. I've always said that you never walk out of class feeling worse than you did walking in. Sometimes the hardest part about signing up for a new dance class is showing up, but you got this. All you have to do is show up and I'll do the hard parts. Come enjoy a low pressure, high vibe environment with very like minded people as I take us on the journey of shuffling together! 💃🏻✨
