Schedule:
6:30-7:40 PM: Freestyle Creativity Class
We will begin with the Freestyle Creativity class, exploring new drills, exercises, ideas, games, and concepts to enhance your ability to freestyle shuffle dance with greater expression, skill, and freedom in sync with the music.
7:40-8:50 PM: Battle Workshop
In the Battle Workshop, we will build on what we learned in the freestyle class and incorporate your existing skills to elevate your dance on the battle floor. You'll learn the importance of intentional training, gain confidence dancing in public, understand the subjective and objective criteria of judges, and develop the mindset necessary for competitive performance.
8:50-10:00 PM: Intermediate Choreography Class
We will conclude the evening with a fun, short, and dynamic choreography session celebrating various shuffling styles. This class will strengthen your dance technique, performance abilities, and choreography skills, ensuring we all have a fantastic time together!
We understand that the extended class time from 6:30 to 10:00 PM is longer than usual. Therefore, we will provide bottled water, fruits, and snacks to keep us energized throughout the evening.
